The patient monitor should be 30 lbs /13.6 kg or less. If it is more, you may not be able to rely solely on the ratcheting screw. Adjust by equally tightening or loosening the (2) two socket head cap screws that hold the tilt tension. Once overall tilt tension is set, use the Tilt Adjustment Lever to fine tune/lock the tilt position.
